Most of the posts on this blog are about website builders and content management systems. This one is for developers. When a business has a website built with a framework like Next.js or Nuxt, someone wrote code for it. That usually means a bigger budget, an ongoing need for development and a team that understands what developers do.

Who builds with frameworks
Framework sites are common among startups, software companies, agencies and larger businesses with marketing teams. They chose a custom build because they needed something a builder couldn't do, or because developers made the choice for them.
That tells you a few things before you write:
- They may already have developers. Your pitch might be extra capacity, not a rescue.
- They value technical skill. Concrete examples beat general claims.
- Their needs are ongoing. New features, landing pages, performance and maintenance never really stop.
Next.js
Next.js is by far the most common framework in our data, with 516 sites. Next.js moves quickly, and sites built on older versions can fall behind. Helping a team upgrade, or improving the performance of a site that has grown heavy, are well-defined projects.
Nuxt
Nuxt is the Vue world's equivalent, with 138 sites in our database. If you work with Vue, Nuxt sites are your natural audience, and there are fewer specialists competing for them than in the React world.
Astro and Gatsby
Astro is a newer framework popular for fast, content-heavy sites like marketing pages, documentation and blogs. Gatsby was very popular for the same kind of site a few years ago. Teams with older Gatsby sites are sometimes weighing whether to upgrade or move to something else, and an experienced opinion can be valuable.
Writing to a technical team
Keep it short and specific. Mention the framework, one concrete observation and what you'd do about it. Developers read a lot of vague pitches, so specifics stand out:
I noticed your marketing site is on Next.js and the pricing page takes a few seconds to become interactive on mobile. That's usually fixable without a rebuild. Happy to share the three things I'd look at first.
