Elementor, Divi and WPBakery: finding WordPress sites by page builder

"WordPress developer" covers a lot of ground. Someone who builds custom themes and someone who lives in Elementor all day do very different work. If you specialise in a page builder, the best leads aren't WordPress sites in general. They're sites built with the tool you already know.

Dozif detects the common page builders alongside WordPress itself, so you can search for them directly.

Elementor

Elementor is the builder we see most often by far, on 1,245 sites. That popularity cuts both ways. There are lots of Elementor sites to work with, but many were put together quickly from templates, with add-on packs layered on top.

Common jobs on Elementor sites:

  • Speed. 69% of them took more than 3 seconds to respond when we checked. Trimming add-ons and unused widgets is often the biggest win.
  • Consistency. Global colours and fonts that were never set up, so every page looks slightly different.
  • Mobile layouts. Sections that look fine on desktop and fall apart on a phone.

Divi

Divi sites, 253 in our database, are often built by the business owner or a generalist designer using a ready-made layout. They tend to need tidying more than rebuilding: better spacing, clearer calls to action, fewer animations.

WPBakery

WPBakery has been around for a long time and often came bundled with premium themes. Many of the 239 sites we found have been running for years, and 51 of them show an outdated footer year. These owners are good candidates for a modern rebuild, whether that's on the block editor, another builder or a different platform entirely.

Beaver Builder, Bricks and Oxygen

These have smaller, often more technical audiences. Sites built with Bricks or Oxygen were usually made by developers who chose them on purpose, so they're less likely to need rescuing. Beaver Builder sites are often agency-built for clients and can be good candidates for a care plan.

How to use this

Pick the builder you're best at, filter for it, add a problem you know how to fix and a niche you understand. Then mention the builder in your email. "I work with Elementor sites every day" is a much stronger opening than "I'm a web designer".
